In physical size the club is one of the largest on the West Coast. The clubhouse sits on the waterfront of the North Harbor in Moss Landing with great Westerly views of magnificent sunsets, sailboats and rolling sand dunes. It hosts a brick patio with fire pits, a fully stocked bar and a large dining and activities room for various events. Two outdoor barbecues and a lawn for picnics add to the summer fun. Showers, storage rooms, a kitchen and a launder mat are available for the use of members. There are many social and sailing activities.
The club has three series of races a year for its members just outside the harbor. There are also several longer races some of which involve other yacht clubs.
Sailing / Cruising
A group of members meets once a week at a local café for breakfast, then decides which boats to take out to see the sights which can consist of whales, seal lions, seals, sunfish or just plain having fun cruising.
On Sundays the hearth room at the club is the meeting place.
There are also longer cruising trips to Pebble Beach and Santa Cruz.
